Danielle Stopframe is Orel's gym teacher at Alfred G. Diorama Elementary School and the biological father of Shapey. During the series' run, he was the keystone of a love triangle between him, Clay, and Bloberta.
Personality[]
Danielle is a soft-spoken but self-absorbed man. Unlike the other adults of Moralton, who have some pretense of morality, he does as he pleases, doesn't care who he hurts, and flip-flops between following God and Satan based on whoever is more convenient at the time. Along with praying, he tries to get what he wants by taking advantage of people in moments of conflict or weakness.
Danielle has moments of humanity as well, sharing a bonding moment with Orel and subsequently taking somewhat of a paternal role with him in "Honor." He also gets physically sick from emotion after seeing Clay kissing Ms. Censordoll.
He's a fan of gothic erotica, and it's implied that he gains some sort of satisfaction from Clay's pee. He's turned off by overweight people.
Danielle's sexuality is never explicitly labeled, however he is attracted to men and his only female love interest was in order to get closer to Clay.
History[]
He stalked and manipulated Clay and Bloberta for eight years in order to get closer to Clay. His first known move was intentionally impregnating Bloberta with Shapey. He kept several pictures of Clay with him at his job and at home.
Danielle waited patiently for things to fall into place so he could be with Clay, but things took an unexpected turn when he saw Clay kissing Ms. Censordoll. This called into question everything he thought he liked about Clay. Coincidentally, Orel was going through a similar crisis. After prodding from Orel, Danielle agreed to teach him about what made Clay worth respecting but had no luck for most of the day. Eventually, he found the answer: Orel himself.
Clay confessed his love for Danielle while saying Orel's name to save face in front of his family and/or due to his deep repression. However, Danielle rejected Clay after realizing how awful he really was and told him it was too late. Before the Puppington's leave, Danielle admits that he had fun with Orel.
Family and Relationships[]
Clay Puppington
Danielle was infatuated with Clay for years, stalking and obsessing over him. Clay returns his affection in subtle, subconscious ways, but in the end always rejects Danielle, not fully aware of either of their actions or real feelings. After seeing Clay kissing Ms. Censordoll and spending quality time with Orel, Danielle realizes that his obsession with Clay is best left in the past.
Bloberta Puppington
Danielle had an affair with Bloberta and impregnated her with her second son, Shapey. This was only a ploy to erode their marriage, and he showed no interest in her afterward.
Shapey Puppington
Shapey is Danielle's biological son. Shapey was ecstatic when he saw him but Danielle had no emotional attachment and met him with indifference.
Joe is Danielle's nephew with whom he has little interest in. He was dismissive to Joe when he asked why Danielle never spends time with him.
Nurse Bendy
Nurse Bendy is possibly Danielle's younger half-sister. How they are related is not elaborated on, though given their different last names it is possible that the two share a mother but have different fathers.
Their relationship is never fully explored, however he gives Joe Nurse Bendy's phone number to make him go away, possibly implying the two maintain some contact.
Orel Puppington
Danielle considered Orel to be one of his best runners on the athletic team and the most direct road towards Clay. In "Satan," he was ready to ceremonially sacrifice Orel in order to win over his dad. After bonding with Orel in "Honor," he realized that Orel was Clay's only good contribution to the world and showed genuine care for him.

- "Satan:" Danielle tries to win Clay over using Satanic rituals.
- "Praying:" Cameo appearance. He's in the crowd at the Praying Bee.
- "School Pageant:" Cameo appearance. He attends the pageant.
- "Presents for God:" He uses Orel's service to have an orgy with three women
- "Orel's Movie Premiere:" He attends the screening.
Season 3[]
- "Numb:" Bloberta tries to have an affair with him, but he declines.
- "Grounded:" Cameo appearance
- "Innocence:" He tells Orel that he should bathe in virgin blood.
- "Alone:" Cameo appearance. He's outside the Bachelor Arms bar.
- "Dumb:" He directs Joe to Nurse Bendy when he says his mom's dead.
- "Nesting:" He almost kisses Clay before Ms. Censordoll arrives.
- "Honor:" This episode focuses on him and Orel finding something to honor about Clay.
Other[]
- "Beforel Orel:" Danielle has sex with Bloberta at the start of the episode.
- In a promo for "Beforel Orel," he shows up in Clay's study while he's masturbating to his picture.
Trivia[]
- His last name refers to frames of stop motion animation.
- He is noticeably shorter than the other adult characters, including some female characters such as Ms. Censordoll. This can be seen in the episode, "Maturity," when he is drinking at Forghetty's with her.
